Special Needs

Visiting a new church for the first time is a leap of faith. Even more so if you have special needs. Rest assured that Stoney Creek United Church is a welcoming environment, both in its people and its facilities.

Personal Greeter
If you would like to arrange a visit and wish to have a personal greeter or "Welcome Buddy" to assist you, please call the church office at (905)662-4963 ext 224.

Accessibility
Wheelchair Access - is provided by entering through the Atrium doors on Lake Ave. From this entrance there is access to the CE Auditorium. A recently installed chair lift provides access up to the Sanctuary and Chapel as well downstairs to the Fireside room.

Bus Ministry - SCUC runs a shuttle bus service to and from our Sunday service. The shuttle bus runs regularly to seniors homes in the area, but is available for individual pickups. To arrange for a pick up please call the church office, from Monday to Thursday, at (905)662-4963.

Hearing impaired - Amplified hearing aids are available in the Sanctuary prior to Sunday service. Please ask your door greeter on the way in.

Vision impaired - Large print copies of the hymns are available, from the door greeters, in the weekly service bulletin.
