Adult Confirmation Class: Ready for the next step in your faith journey?
Adult Confirmation Class: do you want to learn more about the Bible, what the United Church believes,
the history of the church, the nature of God, and to examine your place in God’s world? Making the world a better place, one milk bag at a time.
A new venture for your spare time, are you interested? This involves saving the four litre milk bag (the large bag only that contains the 3 small clear milk bags). They will be cut in a special way, knotted to form a plastic rope, rolled into a ball then crocheted into a mat. The resulting mats will be sent to various countries that can use them for people to sleep on. They can just roll them up, tuck them under their arm and walk off. The mat size is 30in by 48in for children and 36in by 60in for adults. This requires a lot of bags. The bags must dry when saving them. Please bring scissors and if able to crochet, a # 7 Hook. This is open to anyone interested in the church or your neighbours. Questions may be directed to Ruth Tschanz (905)573–6036 |
